Reason for Pursuing CAPP Certification

I decided to pursue my CAPP certification because it opens doors for those who are certified.  We are more likely to have a seat at the table and help set the standard for our industry.

Roadblocks or Obstacles Overcome in the Journey to CAPP Certification

My only obstacle was learning what I didn’t know and recognizing that I didn’t know it.  Thankfully, the program provides many training materials so whatever you need to learn or brush up on, they have a resource for it.

Impact the Certification Has Made on Your Career

I can apply for executive level positions that I previously wouldn’t have.  It also helped me land my current position, as one of the minimum requirements is a CAPP Certification.

Best Advice for Those Considering CAPP Certification

Take your time and go through every resource they offer to help you obtain your certification.  If you think you know something, study like you don’t.
